📖 What This Tool Does

When you practice blindfolded solving (3BLD), you must memorize the cube's state before you put on the blindfold. This trainer shows you a scrambled cube pattern and helps you rehearse the memorization step. You can practice as many times as you want, at your own pace.

The tool runs entirely in your browser. There is no software to install for the online version. If you want an offline copy, you can download it and run it locally on your Windows computer.

Follow these steps to start using the tool today.

Option 1: Use the Hosted Version (Recommended)

  1. Open any modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari).
  2. Go to the hosted version.
  3. The tool loads immediately. You do not need to create an account or sign in.
  4. Start practicing.

This version works on Windows, Mac, Linux, and even tablets or phones. It requires an internet connection.

Option 2: Download the Offline Copy (Windows)

  2. Look for the latest release. It will be at the top of the page.
  3. Click the file named 3bld-trainer-memory-tool.zip or 3bld-trainer-memory-tool-win.zip.
  4. Save the ZIP file to your computer (usually your Downloads folder).
  5. Open the folder where you saved the file.
  6. Right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All.
  7. Choose a folder on your computer to extract the files (for example, My Documents\3bld-trainer).
  8. Open the extracted folder.
  9. Double-click the file named index.html.
  10. The tool opens in your default web browser. You can now use it without internet.

There is no installer. The tool is a single HTML file that runs in your browser. It does not change your system settings.
